Decided to jazz up the autographed page of my sketchbook with a character from each of the films that they've directed (so far).

It was a pleasure to listen to them at their panel during the Ottawa International Animation Festival!

Repeating Pan Thumbs Revised

Just a matter of revising what I have so that it works in perspective. Thankfully one has been selected to make into a full-sized pan that'll work on animation paper. It's all part of the process! 

Even though I'm only drawing one for this assignment, there are still several ones that I'd love to develop into projects on my off-time.

Simple Repeating Pan Thumbnails

Some layout thumbnails that I'm working on for school. I think I've wrapped my head around how a pan's perspective works. These work as simple repeating pans (à la Flintstones).

Figured that I'd better do some notes and sort out some information about our main characters before I pose them into group shots. Importantly, consistency information such as head heights and height comparisons between the characters.

Some character variation checks, ensuring each of our mains is identifiable at even the basest of levels!

Summer's End

After giving links to some fantasy creature quizzes to my friends I creature-fied them and made an illustration to commemorate our summer shenanigans.
